Processing of personal data involves all forms of handling of personal data such as: collection, analysis, registration and storage.

Human Content is the data controller for the processing of your personal data.
4. What kind of information do we collect?
When you are invited to complete surveys and log in, you will be asked for your consent to store the information you are asked to provide. Depending on the situation, we may ask for the following personal information:

Responses to surveys that address your characteristics; personality, abilities, as well as skills and attitudes.

Technical information: which website address you use to access our websites, your IP address and user behaviour, browser type, language and information about identification and operating system.
5. Section 6f as an alternative to opt-in consent via website. Consent can be withdrawn
​We base our decision on legitimate consent as described in Section 6f of the Data Protection Act. If you have previously entered into a customer relationship with us, or you are a new customer, this will be a legitimate reason to send you information. This is equivalent to consent under the Marketing Act, as the law has been in Norway for many years. You can withdraw this consent for us to process your personal data at any time. If you withdraw your consent, we will remove the information we have about you. Please note that deleting the information from us may affect your role and opportunity in the process(es) that led to you being invited to conduct surveys.
6. Information from other sources
​When you consent to us processing your personal data, you also agree that we may register other information about you that you have provided to us on other occasions. Information that is necessary for the services you will use will also be stored.
7. Purpose of the processing of personal data?
The information you provide is used for the following purposes:

Your survey responses are analysed and reports with findings are made available to those who have invited you to conduct the surveys and only when you have actively consented to them having access to your information. The purpose of the surveys is usually in connection with processes in an organization, for example:

8. Consent to email correspondence, direct contact
When you consent to us processing your personal data in accordance with the above-mentioned purposes, you consent to the following:

9. How long is the information stored?
When you have completed surveys with us, this is your information that you can choose to make available to others. We never share this information with anyone other than those you have given active consent to have that access.

When you have given active consent for someone to have access to your information, this access will usually last until the purpose of the consent is deemed to have ended. Three typical examples:

If the consent applies to a recruitment process, access to information will last for 18 months after the process was started.

If you are an employee of the organization requesting access to your information, and the consent applies to surveys for use in your employment, access will last until you no longer work for the organization.

If the consent applies to guidance/coaching with an external person, access will last for as long as the guidance/coaching is ongoing.
We only process personal data for as long as it takes to fulfil the purpose of its collection, after which we delete the information.

If you have an active dialogue with us, we will keep your information for 2 years from the last contact; We will then remove the information we have about you. An active dialogue is defined as you having interacted with Human Content or our representatives in the last 2 years via telephone, by answering emails, downloading material on the website or responding to a survey.

In the event that you are employed by a company that is a customer of ours, we process your information within the framework of customer processing. For active customer relationships, we process your information until (1) you terminate your position in the company, or (2) the company no longer has an active customer relationship with us. When a customer relationship is terminated, the terms for storing and processing information change to the same terms as described in the previous sections. If you terminate your employment with the company, you are responsible for notifying us so that we can delete your information.
10. Who can the information be shared with?
​The information provided will be available to a limited number of people in the company, who must be certified users of Human Content tools and methods and who usually work in the human resources department/HR/Organizational Development, are managers or similar.
11. Sharing information with third parties
We do not share your personal information with any third parties.
12. Where is the information stored?
The information is stored by Human Content in our database. We have a data processing agreement with Amazon Web Services, which operates our technical solutions. The physical location of our AWS database is in Frankfurt, Germany.
13. Your rights in relation to access, deletion and possible transfer
You have the right to receive information about what information we have about you. You can also demand that we correct incorrect information or delete your information.

If you wish to withdraw your consent or demand an overview of information, correction or deletion, please contact us at the email address we have provided under the contact information section. To receive such information, you must send an electronic copy of the request on a signed document. If you wish to transfer information, we can also help you with this.
14. Other purposes
If we are going to use the personal information for a purpose other than the one you actively consented to, the requirement for active consent will apply again and we must then state what the new purpose is and obtain your active consent for the new use of the information we have about you.
15. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you download a website.
The storage of information and the processing of this information is not permitted unless the user has both been informed about and has given their consent to the processing. The user must be informed about and approve what information is being processed, what the purpose of the processing is and who processes the information.

We only use cookies to give you a better user experience on our pages so that you do not have to fill in fields again every time you are on our pages.
16. E-mail and telephone
We use e-mail and telephone as part of our daily work. Relevant information that arises from telephone conversations and e-mail exchanges that occur as part of customer processing is registered in the customer system.

Our employees also use e-mail in general dialogue with internal and external contacts. The individual is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant, and at least every year to review and delete unnecessary content in the e-mail box. Upon resignation, the email accounts will be deleted, but some relevant emails will normally be transferred to colleagues.
Sensitive personal information should not be sent by email.
Please note that regular email is unencrypted. We therefore encourage you not to send confidential, sensitive or other confidential information via email.
